Introduction

The results of the First Continental Congress was one of many significant causes that led to the American Revolution. In the last lesson, you learned about the causes, effects and repercussions of the Boston Tea Party. Following the Boston Tea Party and the Coersive or Intolerable Acts, representatives from many of the the 13 colonies met to figure out a way how to oppose the King’s Coercive Acts. This was called the First Continental Congress. Examine the following questions:
